Terahertz (THz)
Terahertz waves occupy the electromagnetic spectrum between 0.3 and 10 THz. They are the target frequencies for 7G networks, theoretically capable of delivering 10+ Tbps data rates over short distances. Major engineering challenges include power amplifier efficiency, atmospheric absorption, and the need for extremely precise beamforming.
